Essential and Queer are the winners in the the Pink Paper reader awards 2009. Essential has been voted best club in the North West and Queer has been voted best bar in the North West. Essential was also voted 2nd Best club in the UK and Queer was voted 3rd Best Bar in the whole of the UK.
Fresh from it's £500,000.00 refurb Essential is now 2 huge clubs plus luxury lounge style bar all in one sexy Super Club package drawing gorgeous clubbers from all over the UK.
The downstairs Main Arena plays funky progessive house with a new club visuals system state of the art sound and light system and additional performance areas.
The new larger top floor Pop lounge has additional stage areas comfy seating
plus a new cocktail and shooter bar.
The extended middle floor has 12 new toilets as well as a swanky new seating area with table service to give clubbers the VIP treatment they deserve. Plus don't miss out on our 'Freshen Up' service in the middle floor toilets.
