Model Lloyd attacked in nightclub
Model Danielle Lloyd has had emergency surgery after she was attacked by two women at a West End nightclub.
She was out with friends, including footballer boyfriend Jamie O'Hara, when the assault happened at the Crystal Nightclub in the early hours of Monday.
Ms Lloyd suffered wounds to her back and leg after being thrown on to a table of drinks at the London venue.
Her management said she had emergency surgery for a serious leg wound. Two women were arrested over the attack.
They were questioned by police on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm and bailed until July.
Ms Lloyd, a former Big Brother contestant, also needed stitches.
A statement from the model's management company said: "Danielle sustained a serious wound to her back which required stitches upon arrival at hospital."
She was with six friends at the time of the attack, including Tottenham Hotspur player Mr O'Hara, her management said.

New York New York Launch
All the recent work at the Luminar site in Basildon recently, saw the opening of New York New York on Tuesday 18th 2008. It appeared to be a very smooth first night, many staff there ensuring no queues at the bar and all table were kept clear.
The Dance floor is light from below as well as above. Sofas are available for a chill.

Music mogul Sean 'Diddy' Combs will not face charges following accusations that he assaulted a man outside the New York City nightclub Soho. He was accused of punching Steven Acevedo, twice, after an arguement involving a woman.

Edwards No8, Lower Severn Street Birmingham City Centre, is to re built at a cost of 2 million. The club was gutted by fire in November 2006.
SALE OF ALCOHOL OUTSIDE NITECLUB
North Somerset cleared an application for The Sands Niteclub, an 850 club capacity club, to sell alcohol outside the club, rejecting objections from 21 nearby residents.
The Sands, Beach Road Weston, will use a terraced area in front of the club for the sale of alcohol and entertainment. The club has gained permission to play recorded music Sunday through to Thursday, noon til Midnight, Friday and Saturdays this has been extended until 2am. In addition the club can hold one event in any seven days which has to be a Friday or Saturday (noon till midnight).
GREEN NITE CLUBBING
An environmentally friendly niteclub design in the Netherlands offer clubbers green night out.
They plan to create electricity from a special dance floor which will convert the dancers movement into power.
The club will also use rainwater for the toilets, sell biological beer and the walls, without using electricity, will change colour depending on the heat generated within the club.
